The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) announced Friday the appointment of Chuck Mitrano as its new president.

Mitrano, the Commissioner of the Empire 8 Athletic Conference, has served on the board for the previous two years. He replaces Tom Calder, the Director of Athletics at Johns Hopkins University, who completed a three-year term as the organization’s president.
