After guiding the Elmira College women's basketball team to a 62-47 win over visiting SUNY Potsdam, Danielle Cleary '18 was named the Corvias ECAC Division III Upstate Rookie of the Week.

Cleary, a three-time Empire 8 Conference Rookie of the Week honoree, recorded a career-high 22 points against the Bears of SUNY Potsdam, her second consecutive 20-point game of the season. 18 of her 22 points came from beyond the arc as she knocked down 6-of-8 three-point attempts. Cleary's six three-point baskets are the most made by an Elmira player since the 2010-11 season when Becky Peterman '11 also made six three-point buckets.

Cleary and the EC women's basketball team will be back on the court Tuesday, December 30th when the Purple and Gold host Rutgers-Camden for a non-conference tilt at 6:00 p.m. at Elmira's Speidel Gymnasium.
