USA Today/WBCA Top 25 Poll

ITHACA, N.Y. – After dropping out of the USA Today/WBCA Top 25 Poll two weeks ago, the Ithaca College women's basketball team has found their way back into the national rankings. Ithaca is ranked No. 25 in this week's poll, which was released on Tuesday afternoon.

The Bombers fell out of the top 25 after a loss to John Carroll on Nov. 30, but have since won three consecutive games to run their overall record to 6-1.

Ithaca notched a convincing road win over the University of Rochester, 78-67, on Dec. 13. The Bombers jumped out to an 18-3 lead just five minutes into the contest and led by as many as 20 en route to their double-digit triumph over Rochester, who was ranked No. 22 in the Dec. 2 Top 25 Poll. Senior Ally Mnich paced Ithaca with a career-high 19 points and was named Empire 8 Conference Player of the Week on Monday, Dec. 15.

Through seven games this season, Ithaca ranks eighth nationally out of 432 Division IIII teams in three-point shooting percentage at 39.3-percent (48-for-122).

The Bombers will participate in the San Juan Shootout for their next games on Dec. 28-29 in Puerto Rico. Ithaca plays Plattsburgh on the 28th and Cabrini on the 29th.
