Ithaca Women's T&F Team Maintains USTFCCCA Regional Ranking of Third
NEW ORLEANS, La. – The Ithaca College women's track & field team ranks third with 213.53 points in week three of the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association
Atlantic Region poll. The Bombers also ranked third in the week two poll.
Ithaca has a handful of performances earning points towards a national ranking. Junior
Emilia Scheemaker (Scarborough, Maine/Scarborough) has the best triple jump mark in the country with a school-record distance of 12.25 meters. She also sits 16th in the long jump with a leap of 5.50 meters. Junior
Harmony Graves (Ithaca, N.Y./Ithaca) ranks 13th with a school-record 25.45 finish in the 200-meter dash, rookie
Natalie Meyer (Pittsford, N.Y./Pittsford Mendon) cleared 1.67 meters in the high jump to sit 17th and classmate
Alex Rechen (Simsbury, Conn./Simsbury) has cleared 3.50 meters in the pole vault to rank 25th.
The two teams ranking ahead of Ithaca in the regional rankings, St. Lawrence and Cortland, sit 19th and 22nd, respectively, in the national standings. The Bombers moved up from 31st to 28th in week three.
The Bombers return to action Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 15-16 hosting the Bomber Invitational and Multi at Glazer Arena.
