ITHACA, N.Y. – The Ithaca College men's track & field team recorded nine top-10 performances Saturday at Cornell's Deneault Invitational at Barton Hall, hitting a trio of ECAC qualifiers.

Ithaca's 4x400 meter relay of sophomores Zane Scott (Victor, N.Y./Victor) and Jordan Smith (Media, Pa./Strath Haven), junior Matt Femia (Sherrill, N.Y./Vernon-Verona-Sherrill) and senior Brennan Edmonds (Ithaca, N.Y./Charles O. Dickerson) clocked a second-place finish of 3:26.47 to meet the ECAC qualifier.

Ithaca had a pair of top-10 finishers in the 1,000 run. Junior Dennis Ryan (Coventry, R.I./Coventry) placed seventh in ECAC-qualifying fashion in 2:31.08. Sophomore Larkin Bohanan (East Aurora, N.Y./East Aurora) followed in 10th with a time of 2:37.68.

The Bombers' third ECAC qualifier was in the high jump. Senior Brendan Wilkins (Pawcatuck, Conn./Stonington) cleared 1.94 meters to place eighth in the event.

Junior Kevin Davis (Camden, N.Y./Camden) and sophomore Aaron Matthias (Rye, N.Y./Rye) placed sixth and 10th, respectively, in the 200 dash. They crossed the finish line in 23.07 and 23.37. Davis also finished eighth in the 60 dash in 7.18.

Junior Mason Mann (Keene, N.H./Keene) finished sixth in the 500 in 1:08.63 and sophomore Sawyer Hitchcock (Fishers, Ind./Hamilton Southeastern) placed eighth in the 3,000 with a time of 8:55.42.

The Bombers will next compete Friday and Saturday, Jan. 28 and March 1 at the New York State Collegiate Track Conference Indoor Championships at St. Lawrence.
