Cardinals Perform Well At Orange And Brown Invite

The St. John Fisher College men's track and field squad hit the track at Rochester Institute of Technology for the second time this season Friday night at the Orange and Brown Invitational.
The team of Devin Cornelius, Eric Riley, Will Sterriker, and Trevor Wilkes highlighted the day earning a fourth place finish in the 1600-meter relay, running to an ECAC qualifying time of 3:30.11.
In field action Kyle Barry threw the shot 12.94 meters, a career-best, to earn an 11th place finish. Kyle Blessing wasn't far behind finishing in 17th place with a 12.51 meter throw.
Malcolm Fowler had a nice outing in the triple jump bursting to an 11th place finish at 12.71 meters.
Cornelius was right on the heals of fellow teammate Zach Hemminger in the long jump. Hemminger had a jump of 5.62 meters with Cornelius close behind at 5.52 meters.
Dan Cleary enjoyed a career-day clocking his best time in the mile at 4:53.27.
Next weekend Fisher will take part in the NYSCTC Championship on Friday and Saturday in Potsdam, NY.
