Stevens Track & Field Shows Well at Princeton

RESULTS
HOBOKEN, N.J. (February 23, 2014) – The Stevens Institute of Technology women's indoor track & field team participated in the Princeton University Indoor Invitational on Sunday in the non-scoring meet.
Sophomore
Amy Regan (Green Brook, N.J.) highlighted the Invitational with a second place showing in the mile. Regan clocked a time of 5:05.21 to break her own school record in the 21-competitor event.
Classmate
Gladys Njoku (Cedar Grove, N.J.) cleared 1.70 meters (5 feet, 7 inches) in the high jump to finish third overall.
Senior
Kelly Freed (Rutherford, N.J.) finished the 1,000-meter run in a time of 3:13.76, while fellow senior
Ashley Prinicotta (Manalapan, N.J.) placed sixth in the 3,000-meter run with a mark of 10:39.78.
Freshman
Victoria Taibe (Middle Village, N.Y.) rounded out the meet with a sixth place finish in the weight throw with a distance of 11.41 meters (37' 5.25").
Stevens is back in action on February 26 at the Monmouth University Twilight Meet which begins at 5:00 p.m.
