Stevens and Ithaca Appear in Latest USTFCCCA Rankings

The Stevens Institute of Technology women's indoor track & field team landed in the 25th spot on the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Division III National Rankings Wednesday.
This is the first time in program history – for the men or women – to be recognized on the national standings.
Stevens earned 31.88 points in the
computer rankings which are accumulated by individual and relay team placements at meets throughout the 2014 season and marks from previous years.
According to the USTFCCCA release, "The national team rankings will be complied by mathematical formulae based on national descending order lists and data taken from previous seasons. For the preseason ranking and early-season rankings, data will be taken from previous seasons as well as the current season."
In the USTFCCCA Regional Rankings, the Stevens women are slotted in seventh within the Atlantic Region, while the Ithaca women ranked third.
