Ithaca Men's Track & Field Team Competes at Own Bomber Quad Meet

ITHACA, N.Y. – The Ithaca College men's track & field team competed Friday night at its own Bomber Quad Meet hosted in Glazer Arena.

Ithaca had a pair of ECAC qualifiers and three first-place finishes.

Junior Rashaad Barrett (Bohemia, N.Y./Connetquot) was the runner-up in the 60-meter dash in an ECAC qualifying 7.08.

The Bombers' 4x800 relay team of junior Dennis Ryan (Coventry, R.I./Coventry), sophomore Larkin Bohanan (East Aurora, N.Y./East Aurora) and freshmen Chris Gutierrez (Pennington, N.J./Hopewell Valley) and Sean Phillips (East Aurora, N.Y./East Aurora) won the event in 8:07.01 to meet the ECAC standard.

Senior Brennan Edmonds (Ithaca, N.Y./Charles O. Dickerson) won the 200 dash in 23.25 and rookie Etienne Dumas (Philadelphia, Pa./William Penn Charter) raced to victory in the 3,000 crossing the finish line in 9:36.75.

The Bombers will next compete Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 15 and 16 at the Bomber Invitational and Multi.
