Houghton Competes at Brockport Invite

BROCKPORT, N.Y. -- Alyssa Figueroa finished second in the tirple jump and fourth in the 60 meters to lead the Highlanders indoor track team at the Brockport Eagles Invite on Saturday.
Figueroa turned in a triple jump of 36-06.25 and ran the 60 in 8.15. Also securing high finishes was Joanna Friesen with a 2:22.90 in the 800 meters that was good for third place. The women's 4x200 relay team turned in a third place finish in 1:51.62. The team consisted of Sarah Munkittrick, Tatum McLeod, Fiona Daloia and Savannah Doviak.
Leah Williams finished fifth in the mile in 5:26.83.
For the men Austin Groff turned in a seventh place finish in the 5000 meters in 16:05.86. Marshall Brady was fifth in the high jump with a leap of 5-10, 13th in the triple jump (39-08.75) and 13th in the 60 meter hurdles in 9.08.
