Golden Flyers fall to Lake Forest

HILTON HEAD, S.C. -- Nazareth's women's tennis team was in action again Monday on day two of their spring break trip to Hilton Head. The Golden Flyers lost 7-2.
In the women's match, senior
Alison Tepas improved to 14-3 overall this season at first singles with a straight-set victory over Sarah Paulson 6-2, 6-3. The Golden Flyers' other point came at third doubles, where the tandem of
Jean McCarthy and
Ami Petosa were victorious 8-4.
Nazareth also lost close matches at fourth, fifth and sixth singles. Petosa and
Elizabeth Crane each dropped tiebreakers at fourth and sixth respectively, while senior
Krista Pagan lost 6-4, 6-4 at fifth singles.
The Golden Flyers compete again Tuesday against Juniata at 8 a.m.
