Cornelius Takes 11th; Pinto Places 12th

Devin Cornelius placed 11
th overall in the heptathlon with 4,836 points at the 2014 NCAA Division III Men's Indoor Track & Field Championship on Saturday in Lincoln, Neb.
Cornelius, one of only two underclassmen competing in the event, became the first member of Fisher's track & field team to qualify for the national championship in the program's three-year history.
It was a tough start on Saturday for Cornelius both literally and figuratively. In his first event of the day – the 60-meter hurdles - Cornelius stumbled out of the blocks and posted a time of 9.33 to earn 674 points.
After clearing 3.90 meters and collecting 590 points in the pole vault, the sophomore picked up 807 points in the 1,000 meters with a time of 2:46.

Robert Pinto was an NCAA qualifier for the high jump and came in 12th overall at 1.94 meters (6' 4.25").
