Houghton Scores 37 Runs in Sweep of Valley Forge Christian
CARTERET, N.J. -- Houghton basebal improved its win streak to three games after a two-game sweep of Valley Forge Christian College on Saturday.
The Highlanders won 25-0 and 12-2 in the two contests.
In game one Seth Cornell struck out seven in three innings to get the win. Enrico Sukhdeo tallied three hits with a double and triple. Brett Rapan added three hits including a double and a home run. Michael Knapp chipped in with a triple, Mike Kerr added a home run, Trent Unverdorben had three hits, while Tommy Walker and Chris McKay had two hits apiece.
In game two Garret Kirkpatrick had three hits, including a double and a triple to lead the Highlanders.

The Highlanders are back in action when they host Keuka College for a doubleheader on Thursday, March 20. Game one is set to start at 3 p.m.
