Ford, Suderley and Lufkin Named All-Region
Nazareth College forward Brad Ford and Hartwick College forward Jared Suderley have been named to the
D3hoops.com All-East Region first team, while Hartwick guard Joey Lufkin has been named rookie of the year in the region.
Ford averaged 18.8 points and 10.2 rebounds per contest for Nazareth. He recorded 15 double-doubles (points-rebounds) this season on his way to finishing sixth all-time in career points scored at Nazareth with 1,519 and second in rebounding with 944.
Suderley put up career numbers this year for the Hawks as he averaged 20.4 points per game and 10.7 rebounds per contest. Suderley started every game for Hartwick in 2013-14 and scored in double figures on every occasion and tallied 16 double-double games along the way. On February 1 against St. John Fisher, Suderley became the all-time leading rebounder in Hartwick history and less than a week later, he broke the all-time scoring recording in Hawks' history.
Lufkin averaged 15.8 points while playing in all 28 games for Hartwick. He posted a career high of 28 points on Feb. 1, one of four games he scored 20-plus points.
