Ithaca Men's Tennis Falls 6-3 At St. Lawrence

CANTON, N.Y. -- The Ithaca College men's tennis team picked up victories at three singles positions in a 6-3 loss at St. Lawrence on Sunday afternoon. Ithaca fell to 0-2 on the season and will continue its 2013-14 campaign during its spring trip to South Carolina.

After dropping three doubles matches, David Andersen (Hastings on Hudson, N.Y./Hastings) got Ithaca on the board with a win at third singles. Andersen won 6-4, 7-5. Griffin Reid (Bolton, Conn./Bolton) battled back from dropping the first set to get a win at second singles. Reid won 3-6, 6-1, 6-4. Wes Davis (Lancaster, Pa./Lancaster Country Day) was also a three-set winner at fifth singles with a victory by 2-6, 6-4, 6-4 scores.
