The Empire 8 women's indoor track and field teams wrapped up competition at the at the 2014 New York State Collegiate Track Conference Indoor Championships hosted by St. Lawrence.

ALFRED
 Alfred University junior Miasia Hillman won the 60-meter dash and took second in the 200-meter dash, helping lead the Saxons to a 10th-place finish at the New York State Collegiate Track Conference (NYSCTC) indoor championships at St. Lawrence University. FULL STORY

ITHACA
The 17th-ranked Ithaca College women's track & field team tallied a runner-up finish Saturday at the 2014 New York State Collegiate Track Conference Indoor Championships hosted by St. Lawrence. The Bombers, who have won the title 13 times, scored 157.5 points over the course of 21 events. They finished in the top three for the 22nd time in the last 28 years.

Ithaca had 23 individual and two relay All-NYSCTC finishes on day two of competition. The Bombers met 17 ECAC standards Saturday. Freshman Natalie Meyer was named NYSCTC Rookie of the Meet after winning the pentathlon Friday and placing second in the open high jump with an ECAC-qualifying clear of 1.65 meters Saturday.  FULL STORY

NAZARETH


ST. JOHN FISHER
The 4x800 relay team of Sarah CoonSammy Van GeeSydney Saccone and Kaylee Zbytek sprinted their way into the record books after demolishing the school record and qualifying for ECACs with a time of 9:58.10 which was good for sixth place overall.
 
Zbytek continued her impressive performance as she earned the Cardinals points in the 800 after finishing the event in 2:27.27 – good for seventh place overall.  FULL STORY

UTICA
Senior Anastasia Bowden and freshman Abby Schaible combined for eight points in the women's dash events. Bowden registered a time of 60.53 in the 400 meter while Schaible recorded a time of 1:21.53, surpassing the ECAC cut mark in the 500 meter.  Bowden missed the ECAC time by .03 in the 400 but qualfied in the 200 meter (26.32) with a sixth place finish.  FULL STORY
