Sean Lalley named women's golf coach at Nazareth
ROCHESTER, N.Y. --
Sean Lalley, head golf professional at Mendon Golf Club, has been named head coach of the women's golf team at Nazareth.
Lalley will assume his duties later this month as the Golden Flyers open their spring schedule at the McDaniel Tournament March 29 and 30.
A native of Buffalo, Lalley is a graduate of Wayne State University in Detroit. He bcame head pro at Mendon in 2012 after working six years as head pro at Country Club of Ithaca. He also has experience as an assistant professional at Monroe Golf Club and Country Club of Rochester. He was named the Western New York PGA Assistant Golf Professional of the Year in 2001.
"We're pleased to have Sean as a member of our staff," said Nazareth Athletic Director Pete Bothner. "He brings to Nazareth some great experience as a teacher, so we're happy to have him."
Lalley takes over the Nazareth women's golf program from
Marty Coddington, who will continue to coach the Nazareth men's team. Lalley resides in Farmington with his wife, Denise, and children Kiera, 9; Caitlin, 7; and Myles, 4.
