Geyer and Griesemer Receive All-America Nods

Prelim Results | Final Results

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Stevens Institute of Technology junior Brittany Geyer earned an All-America honor in the 400-yard individual medley on Thursday. Geyer swam a 4:26.36 in the prelims to advance to the finals where she finished seventh in 4:28.82.  

Teammate Elizabeth Heinbach also competed in the 400-IM, placing 24th in the prelims with a time of 4:33.14.

Junior Maria McClure participated in the 100-yard butterfly and finished in 57.76 to rank 37th.

Ithaca's Nickie Griesemer earned her first career all-America honor on Thursday, taking 15th overall in the 1-meter dive preliminaries. Her score of 397.00 in the morning session earned her a spot in the consolation finals where she recorded a score of 380.50.

Teammate Heather Markus also competed in the 1-meter boards, scoring 370.95 in the preliminaries to rank 19th overall.  Hartwick senior diver Lindsay Bowker participated totaled 355.20 points in the preliminaries to place 23rd
