SALEM, VA- Prior to the Division III Men's Basketball National Championship game on Saturday evening, D3hoops.com released its All-America Team. Hartwick senior forward Jared Suderley (Newport, NY/West Canada Valley) was named to the first team.

It is Suderley's second time being named to the D3hoops.com All-America team. He was a second team selection in 2012.

This is the 17th year that D3hoops.com has picked an All-American team. Suderley was one of 25 players chosen. The selections were divided into first, second, third, fourth and honorable mention teams.

Earlier this week, Suderley was named to the D3hoops.com All-East Region First Team and the NABC East Region All-District First Team. On Thursday, he was named to the NABC Coaches' Division III All-America Third Team.

Suderley is the second player in Hartwick history to being named an All-American twice. Dana Gahres (1977 and 1978) is other player to have achieved this.

Suderley was named the Empire 8 Player of the Year after posting career highs in points (20.4/gm.) and rebounds (10.7/gm.) this past season. He also garnered Empire 8 Tournament MVP honors in leading the Hawks to their second conference title and third NCAA Tournament berth in the last four years.
