INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The women's swimming & diving competition at the NCAA Championships wrapped up Saturday night and the Bobmers finished 30th overall, followed by the Ducks in 35th place. Ithaca freshman Nickie Griesemer highlighted the night, taking first-team all-America honors in the 3-meter dive.

Emory won the National Championship and Kenyon College was second. Johns Hopkins finished third, Denison was fourth and Williams College rounded out the top-five. 

Griesemer finished seventh in the preliminaries with a score of 442.55. It marked Griesemer's second all-America honor of the meet, pairing with her selection on the 1-meter board earlier in the week. Griesemer finished fifth overall in the event final with a score of 471.20.

Hartwick senior diver Lindsay Bowker totaled 395.90 points in the preliminaries to place 20th. Ithaca's Heather Markus also saw action in the 3-meter dive, finishing with a score 378.20 to place 23rd in the preliminaries.

Ithaca freshman Grace Ayer capped off the night with a 24th place finish in the 200-yard backstroke, finishing the preliminaries in a time of 2:03.99. Stevens junior Maria McClure clocked a personal-best time of 2:07.95 in taking 35th in the 200-yard backstroke,

Stevens junior Brittany Geyer was 24th with a 2:22.68 in the 200-yard breaststroke. Lastly, sophomore Elizabeth Heinbach carded a 17:35.63 to take 28th overall in the 1650 freestyle which was three spots better than she was seeded.
