The Susquehanna men's golf team earned a sixth place finish in a 16-team field at the York College Spring Invitational while Moravian placed seventh. 

Sophomore Jim Maru fired a career-low round of 74 to lead Moravian College.

Maru was tied for seventh of 83 golfers with his two-over par round of 74 that included four birdies, two on each nine holes and two of the four par-five holes. He also had nine pars with four bogeys and one double bogey. Moravian posted a team score of 318 while Franklin & Marshall College was just two-over par as a team with a 290.

Freshman Aaron Brown was tied for 17th with a round of 77 while classmate Dan Leppert was tied for 50th with an 83. Sophomore Evan Dickinson finished in a tie for 56th with an 84 while freshman Andrew Garino was tied for 75th with a 93.

Susquehanna senior Steve Welkie was SU’s top finisher with a score of 77 (+5) to tie for 17th overall. Daniel Wilson was one shot behind with a 78 (+6), good for a tie for 22nd. Ryan Bruvik shot a 79 while DonnyDeRemer’s score of 80 earned him a tie for 35th and Anthony Canarie tied for 50th with an 83 (+11).
