Day Two Completed For SJFC At Danny Curran Invite

The St. John Fisher College men's track and field team completed the second day of the Danny Curran Invitational, hosted by Widener University, on Saturday.

Trevor Wilkes led the way for Fisher, placing second overall in the 200 (23.05) and fourth in the 400 (50.86).

Three other competitors finished the day second in their respective events.   Sophomore Kyle Koehler finished second in the shot put at 13.62 meters, while Eric Riley was the runner-up in the high jump at 1.93 meters, missing the Fisher record by less than inch.
Second-place finisher Evan Magnussen set a new Fisher record in the 3,000 meter steeplechase with a time of 10:22.15.  

Will Sterriker was seventh in the 400 hurdles as well for Fisher.

The Cardinals return to action next weekend at the University of Rochester Invitational.
