Fisher Wraps Up Day Two At Widener

The St. John Fisher College women's track and field team closed out the second day of the Danny Curran Invitational, hosted by Widener University, on Saturday.

Paige Willson had a strong showing, taking second in the shot put (11.30 meters) and sixth in the hammer throw (36.24 meters).
Fellow field athlete Lisa Knab was second in the long jump at 4.95 meters, while Danyelle Redmond placed fourth overall in the pole vault (2.97 meters).

Freshman Ronni Ehlers placed second overall in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:12.05.
Renee Deruchia finished third in the 3,000-meter steeplechase (12:33.85), while Morgan Mastin's 27.30 time in the 200 was good for fourth.

Freshmen Allison Corretore and Melissa Vaughn placed sixth and seventh, respectively, in the 100 hurdles.

Fisher returns to action next weekend at the University of Rochester Invitational.
