The St. John Fisher College men's tennis team won its first match of the season, defeating the Dutchmen of Lebanon Valley College 6-3 on Friday in Hilton Head, S.C.

Freshman Jacob Zarzycki helped earn two points for the Cardinals (1-7), winning, 6-0, 6-2 at fourth singles and combining with Nathaniel Ligon for an 8-3 win at second singles. Ligon also won 6-1, 6-1 at third singles.   Pat McGrath and Sheldon Mitchell won 8-6 at first doubles.  Mitchell also won 6-3, 6-1 at second singles.

Freshman Adam Moran was victorious at fifth singles, winning 6-4, 6-2.
