REDLANDS, C.A. (March 8, 2014) – The Stevens Institute of Technology men's tennis team dropped five of the first six sets to No. 13 University of Redlands on Saturday, as they lost their west coast opener 6-3.

After falling behind 2-0 in doubles, freshman Antonio Perich and sophomore Ben Foran got the Ducks on the board with a 8-5 win at No. 1 over the junior combo of Gram Leahy and Patrick Lipscomb. The momentum failed to build though, as Redlands went on to take three straight singles matches to clinch the match.

Freshman Michael Feldman and Perich took wins at No. 4 and No. 1 respectively.

The loss drops Stevens to 2-4, while Redlands moves to 3-2. The Ducks will get right back on the court tomorrow when they battle No. 19 Carnegie Mellon at 1 p.m. eastern in Claremont, C.A.
