HILTON HEAD, S.C. -- Nazareth swept all six singles matches Sunday as the Golden Flyers won their spring break women's tennis opener with an 8-1 victory over Richard Stockton.
Sunday's was the first of five matches for the Golden Flyers, who improved to 8-5 overall.

Alison Tepas, sophomore
Ami Petosa and freshmen
Sara Kashtan and
Jean McCarthy each won straight-set singles matches. In addition, Tepas and Kashtan teamed for an 8-2 win at first doubles, while McCarthy and Petosa combined for a point at third doubles.
The closest matches came at fifth and sixth singles, where senior
Krista Pagan and sophomore
Elizabeth Crane prevailed in tiebreakers. Pagan rallied to win at #5 6-7, 6-2, 10-8 over Stockton's Gianna Letinski. Crane, meanwhile won her first set 6-1, then dropped the second 3-6, before winning the tiebreaker 10-6.
