Devin Solar shot the low score at the Hobart Invitational as five members of the nationally-ranked St. John Fisher College men's golf team finished in the top five as the Cardinals competed in the Hobart Invitational on Saturday at the Clifton Springs Country Club.

Solar finished the brief 18-hole tournament in first place after shooting a 73 on the par 71 course. Karl Deuble finished in sole possession of second place after shooting a 76 (+5), while Jeffrey Palmerino captured fourth place with a final score of 78 (+7). Sam Loh and Christopher Salone each finished in a tie for fifth place at +8.

The No. 5 Cardinals will return to action on Friday when they continue play in the final rounds of the Empire 8 Spring Championships.  Fisher currently holds a nine stroke lead with the Conference's automatic bid into the 2014 NCAA Division III Men's Golf Championship on the line.
