BALDWINSVILLE, N.Y. -- Jennifer Lachell was Nazareth's top finisher over the weekend as Nazareth's women's golf team placed sixth at the Mike Bello Invitational at Timber Banks Golf Course.

Nazareth had a two-day team score of 863 to finish ahead of Elmira in the team standings. Kutztown won the competition with a team score of 663. West Chester (686), LeMoyne (747), East Stroudsburg (785) and Hamilton (792) also competed.

Lachell had scores of 88 and 96 for a 184 total, good for 14th place. Anne Czelusniak finished in a tie for 17th place with a score of 189 after rounds of 86 and 103. Alyssa Moffat (123-117 -- 240) and Sarah Gosek (118-132 -- 250) also competed.

Elmira finished the final leg with an overall score of 907 to place seventh overall. Briana MacDonald '14 led the Purple and Gold as she improved five strokes on the second day to post an overall score of 213, placing her 29th overall.

Checking in next was Elizabeth Paolucci '17 who tallied a final score of 217 to place 30th while Giovanna DeLoca '17 notched in a 235 to tie for 32nd. Following DeLoca was Keira Glasheen '17 who penciled in 242 overall, placing her 98th overall.

Two members of the Ithaca College women's golf team participated as individuals.  Senior Elma Gonzalez and freshman Mary Rooker took part in the event, which was held at Timber Banks in Syracuse.
 
Gonzalez scored 107 in the opening round and 100 in the second round for a total of 208 and a tie for 26th place. Rooker scored 129 and 132 for a 261 and finished 38th.
