Baseball Player of the Week – Ithaca
Cooper Belyea, Junior, Catcher – Ithaca, NY/Ithaca
Cooper Belyea helped lead Ithaca to a 3-2 week including three victories over 13th-ranked St. John Fisher. At the plate, Belyea was 7-for-13 for a .538 batting average. He had two doubles, scored four times, and drove in three runs. He also had two stolen bases and played five games of error-free baseball behind the plate.
Baseball Pitcher of the Week – Utica
Joshua Webb, Sophomore – Verona, NY/VVS
Joshua Webb earned the win in a complete-game 2-0 victory over Houghton on Friday. In his seven innings of work, he gave up only two hits in his shutout. He registered eight strikeouts to go along with just two walks.
Softball Player of the Week – Ithaca
Sydney Folk, Senior, Infield – Long Beach, NY/Long Beach
Senior Sydney Folk helped guide the Bombers to a 3-1 record last week, including a sweep over Stevens at home. Folk hit .636 over the four-game stretch, leading the team in RBI (8) and total bases (13). Folk also led the Bombers with four extra-base hits, including three doubles and a home run.
Softball Pitcher of the Week – Elmira
Emilie Rogers, Senior – Elmira, NY/Elmira Free Academy
Emilie Rogers pitched in three games last week, going 2-1, picking up wins against Penn Tech and Utica College. Against Penn Tech, she tossed a complete game shutout, striking out 10 batters while allowing just two hits. In her other win against Utica, Rogers fanned six batters en route to Elmira's second conference win of the season. For the week, she struck out 23 batters total and held batters to a .221 batting average.

Jeff Wester, Senior, Attack – Livonia, NY/Livonia

Jeff Wester's record-setting week helped guide th St. John Fisher College men's lacrosse team to a 2-0 record last week as the Cardinals downed Elmira 18-9 before beating Alfred 14-5. Wester tallied a combined 14 points last week on two goals and 12 assists. He set a new program-best with eight assists against Elmira and followed it up with four more helpers against Alfred. Wester also posted eight shots and two ground balls last week.

Utica
Andrew DiOrio, Junior – Greenlawn, NY/CW Post
Andrew DiOrio stopped 23 shots over the course of a 1-1 week for Utica. He tied his season-high with 16 saves in the Pioneers' loss to Stevens on Wednesday. He added seven saves in Utica's win over Elmira on Saturday. He has recorded at least 11 saves in six of his last eight starts.
Women’s Lacrosse Player of the Week?- Ithaca
Ally Runyon, Sophomore, Attack – Fairport, NY/Fairport
Sophomore Ally Runyon helped the Bombers secure the top seed in, and hosting rights for, the Empire 8 Championship Tournament with a 2-0 week. Runyon led the Bombers in points, goals and draws over the weekend. She tallied nine points on eight goals and one assist, while adding six draws, six ground balls and one caused turnover as the No. 16 Bombers defeated Stevens 13-6 and Hartwick 13-8. Having not lost a regular-season Empire 8 contest since 2011, Ithaca has won 20 consecutive games.
Women’s Lacrosse Goalie of the Week??- St. John Fisher
Nichole Hart, Sophomore – Syracuse, NY/West Geneseo
Nicole Hart had her best game of the season against the No. 2 Cortland Red Dragons last week as the sophomore goalie made seven saves in 40 minutes of play to keep the nationally-ranked St. John Fisher College Cardinals in the running. Hart made several key saves including two on fast break attempts. She surrendered only six goals in the game against one of the nation's top-ranked scoring teams.
Men’s Tennis Player of the Week – Alfred
Stefan Nonnenmann, Junior – New Providence, NJ/New Providence
Stefan Nonnenmann won his fourth singmes match against D'Youville to help the host Saxons to an 8-1 win. It was his 14th singles win of the season, which sets a new school record. He also teamed with Connor Doud to win first doubles.
Men’s Golf Athlete – St. John Fisher
Thad Wier, Senior – East Aurora, NY/East Aurora
Thad Wier took home Empire 8 Player of the Year honors for the second consecutive year after leading the nationally-ranked St. John Fisher College men's golf team to its fourth-straight Empire 8 Conference title. Wier finished the 72-hole tournament at +19 to win by a single stroke.
Men’s Outdoor Track Athlete – Utica
Shane Ruffing, Junior – Rochester, NY/Westborough
Junior hurdler Shane Ruffing won both the 110 and 400 meter hurdles with times of 15.16 and 56.10, while collecting 20 total team points for the Pioneers at the 2014 Empire 8 Track and Field Outdoor Championships Saturday. For his efforts he was named the Track Athlete of the Meet.
Men’s Outdoor Field Athlete – St. John Fisher
Eric Riley, Junior – Wampsville, NY/Oneida
Eric Riley was named the Field Athlete of the Meet as the St. John Fisher College men's track and field team secured a third place finish at the 2014 Empire 8 Championships over the weekend. Riley won the long jump and setting a new Fisher record in the process at 7.11 meters. Riley earned another 10 points for Fisher, setting a new College-record in the high jump at 1.98 meters to win that event as well. He also took part in the 4x100 relay, finishing fourth overall.
Women’s Outdoor Track Athlete – Stevens
Amy Regan, Sophomore – Green Brook, NJ/Watchung Hills
Amy Regan qualified for ECAC's in the 1,500-meter race and 5,000-meter run with a pair of first place showings. She set a conference and school record in the 1,500 with a time of 4:41.46 and sits 33rd nationally. Regan then ran a time of 17:52.89 in the 5K to set a facility record at Fisher.
Women’s Outdoor Field Athlete – Stevens
Gladys Njoku, Sophomore – Cedar Grove, NJ/Cedar Grove
Gladys Njoku won the high jump and long jump events on Saturday. She posted a mark of 1.63 meters (5 feet, 4.25 inches) in the high jump and 5.51 meters (18' 1") in the long jump, which is good for school record and 26th overall in Division III.
