The nationally-ranked St. John Fisher College baseball team scored the final nine runs and didn't allow a run over the final eight innings, as the Cardinals picked up a 9-2 win over visiting College at Brockport on Wednesday at Fisher's Dugan Yard.

Starting pitcher Marc Iseneker allowed two runs in the first inning after back-to-back walk to start  the game, but found his zone after that.  The freshman raised his record to 5-1 on the year, allowing just two hits over four innings.   Relievers Ryan Trauger, Shawn Corrigan, Josh Amann and Ryan Smith combined for five scoreless innings with Smith striking out the side in the ninth.

Fisher tied the game at 2-2 in the second and took the lead for good in the fourth.  Chris Roeder doubled high off the fence in left and scored the game-winning run on a double down the line from fellow senior Mike Fahy.   Roeder finished the game 3-for-3 with three runs scored, while Fahy also picked up three hits.

ITHACA v Oswego
The 20th-ranked Ithaca College baseball team dropped a 4-3 game in 11 innings on Wednesday afternoon at Oswego. Ithaca's record stands at 22-8 on the season, while Oswego improved to 18-8. It was Oswego's third victory this season over a nationally-ranked team.

Ithaca took the lead with a run in the top of the first on an RBI double from Colby Gee that brought home Tim Henry, but Oswego tied it with a run in the bottom of the inning.

The teams again traded single runs in the fourth inning. Ithaca scored on an RBI single from Cooper Belyea that brought home Zach Cole. Oswego answered with a run in the bottom half, then scored again in the sixth to take a 3-2 lead.

Ithaca tied it in the top of the seventh. Belyea started the inning with a single and Christian Brown followed with a hit, then Luke Stark walked to load the bases with nobody out. Henry hit a sacrifice fly to bring in the tying run, and then Gee was intentionally walked to re-load the bases. The rally ended on an infield pop-out and a ground out to second base.

The Bombers got their first two base runners aboard in the 11th but had the go-ahead run cut down at the plate with the infield in, and a double play ball ended the threat. Oswego's winning run came in the 11th inning. With one out, a ground ball up the middle was thrown into the outfield, allowing the batter to go to third on the error. The winning run came in on a fielder's choice.

Four Ithaca players had multiple-hit games. Belyea was 3-for-5 with an RBI and a run scored. Gee, Cole and Luke Stark had two hits each. Josh Savacool had a double. Ithaca left 11 runners on base.
