Baseball Player of the Week – Houghton
Michael Knapp, Sophomore, SS – Brockport, NY/Brockport
Michael Knapp helped lead Houghton to a 4-3 week including three victories over 22
nd-ranked St. John Fisher. At the plate, Knapp was 13-for-28 (.464) with six runs scored. He had four doubles, one triple and drove in six runs. He also had two stolen bases and five putouts to go along with 21 assists from shortstop. Knapp is currently enjoying a nine-game hitting streak.
Baseball Pitcher of the Week – Stevens
Matt Buccheri, Senior – Little Silver, NJ/Red Bank Regional
Matt Buccheri struck out 11 batters, while allowing six hits in 11 innings pitched over two starts last week with a win. Buccheri recorded six strikeouts in five innings against NJCU on Monday and then fanned five in a 3-2 win at Utica on Sunday.
Softball Player of the Week – Elmira
Megan Anderson, Junior, First Base – Little Falls, NJ/Passaic Valley
Megan Anderson guided Elmira to an 8-2 week. She went 17-for-37 from the plate with two home runs and 10 RBI. More impressive is that Anderson extended her hitting streak to 16 games. It is the longest hitting streak in over 10 years in Elmira College history. Against St. Lawrence, she hit a walk-off single in the bottom of the 9th inning to seal a 1-0 win for Elmira. Then, in the bottom of the 6th inning against St. John Fisher, Anderson smacked a two-run home run which sparked a four-run inning that led to a 5-3 win for EC. She also recorded 75 putouts and two assists with a fielding percentage of .987.
Softball Pitcher of the Week – Stevens
Kayla Berardi, Senior – Brookfield, CT/Brookfield
Kayle Berardi went undefeated this week, recording three wins with 25 strikeouts and only walking three across 21 innings. Berardi's best performance came Sunday in two crucial conference matches in which the lefty pitched a seven inning, eight strikeout gem against Nazareth, before coming back in game two with a complete game, seven strike-out shut-out.

Utica
Joe Schoen, Senior, Attack – Whitesboro, NY/Whitesboro
Joe Schoen tallied eight assists in two games last week as he wrapped up his collegiate career as the College’s all-time leader in career assists with 82. Schoen tied his career-high with six assists in the Pioneers win over Houghton on Saturday as he eclipsed the previous school-record of 78. He also added two assists in the Pioneers’ 8-5 loss to St. John Fisher College on Wednesday.

Stevens
Austin Boyd, Sophomore – Bellevue, WA/Bellevue
Austin Boyd notched two victories last week in E8 conference play. Boyd started the week with a pair of saves in 25 minutes of action in a 23-6 win over Elmira on Wednesday and then made a career-high 15 stops in a 15-11 victory over No. 11 Ithaca on Saturday, snapping the Bombers’ five game win streak.
Women’s Lacrosse Player of the Week?- St. John Fisher
Lindsey Shoales, Junior, Midfield – West Monroe, NY/Paul V. Moore
Lindsey Shoales played a large role in the No. 18 Cardinals' four wins last week including a 16-3 win over nationally-ranked Brockport. Shoales posted 13 points on 12 goals and one assist. She also added 12 shots, eight draw controls and two caused turnovers. Shoales notched five goals against Brockport and would add four in Fisher's key win over Stevens.
Women’s Lacrosse Goalie of the Week??- Nazareth
Tara Prosak, Senior – Jamesville, NY/Jamesville-DeWitt
Tara Prosak helped Nazareth secure a pair of Empire 8 Conference wins last week with a total of 14 saves against Alfred and Stevens. She had four saves while allowing one goal in 30 minutes of a 17-5 win at Alfred Wednesday, then added 10 saves in Saturday's 12-11 overtime win over Stevens.
Men’s Tennis Player of the Week – Stevens
Matthew Heinrich, Sophomore – Hendersonville, TN/Hendersonville
Matthew Heinrich continued his prowess from the first singles position, winning a third-set tiebreaker on Sunday against No. 12 Bowdoin College's top singles player Noah Bragg, who's also ranked No. 10 in the region. Heinrich now leads the team with 18 wins at first singles.
Men’s Outdoor Track Athlete – Stevens
Michael Cahill, Senior – Clark, NJ/Union Catholic
Michael Cahill topped the field in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 15:36.70 at the TCNJ Invitational on Saturday. Cahill won by nearly six seconds in the event that consisted of 25 runners.
Men’s Outdoor Field Athlete – Alfred
Sean Locker, Junior – Corning, NY/Corning-Painted Post West
Sean Locker won the javelin with a throw of 55.96 meters at Saturday's SUNY Brockport Golden Eagle Invitational. He placed first out of 21 throwers to reach the ECAC qualifying mark and beat the second-place thrower by 4.75 meters.
Women’s Outdoor Track Athlete – Stevens
Amy Regan, Sophomore – Green Brook, NJ/Watchung Hills
Amy Regan was the lone competitor for Stevens on April 24 at the Penn Relays and finished 10th overall out of 28 runners in her heat throughout all three NCAA Divisions in the 5,000-meter race. She clocked a time of 16:44.66 to set a school record by 19 seconds and a personal best mark by seven seconds. The sophomore was the top Division III runner in the heat and topped the next closest DIII participant by 38 seconds. Her time of 16:44.66 currently sits third in the nation.
Women’s Outdoor Field Athlete – Ithaca
Emilia Scheemaker, Junior – Scarborough, ME/Scarborough
Junior Emilia Scheemaker hit four ECAC qualifiers last week in the triple and long jumps at the Penn Relays and Cornell's Big Red Invitational. She had a 5.33-meter leap in the long jump Thursday and an 11.34-meter finish in the triple jump Friday at the Penn Relays. On Sunday at Cornell, Scheemaker placed sixth in the long with a mark of 5.29 meters and was the runner-up in the triple with a mark of 11.84 meters, the sixth-best DIII mark in the nation.
