Berardi and Heinrich Honored With ECAC Weekly Recognition
Kayla Berardi and Matthew Heinrich have been named the Corvias Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Upstate Players of the Week for softball and tennis, respetively, for the week of April 21-27.

Senior, Brookfield, Conn.
Berardi went undefeated this week, recording three wins with 25 strikeouts and only walking three across 21 innings. Berardi's best performance came Sunday in two crucial conference matches in which the lefty pitched a seven inning, eight strikeout gem against Nazareth, before coming back in game two with a complete game, seven strike-out shut-out.
Matthew Heinrich – Stevens Institute of Technology
Sophomore, Hendersonville, Tenn.
Heinrich continued his prowess from the first singles position, winning a third-set tiebreaker on Sunday against No. 12 Bowdoin College's top singles player Noah Bragg, who's also ranked No. 10 in the region. Heinrich now leads the team with 18 wins at first singles.
