Womens track and field athletes competed Friday on the final day of the 2014 Division III ECAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships hosted by Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute of Technology (RPI).  

Alfred junior Miasia Hillman w on a title in the 100-meter dash Friday. Hillman ran the first sub-12 second 100 of her career, finishing in 11.99 seconds. The time bettered by nearly a tenth of a second the school record of 12.08 seconds she set in winning a title at the New York State championships earlier this month.
                
She also solidified her chances of making the field for the NCAA Division III Championships at Ohio Wesleyan University May 22-24. Hillman entered the ECAC championships ranked 13th in the nation in the 100-meter dash; her winning time of 11.99 seconds is the eighth-fastest this year. NCAA qualifiers will be announced on Sunday.
                
Hillman also ran the 200-meter dash Friday, finishing third in 25.12 seconds. She came into the meet with the eighth-fastest seed time (12.08 seconds, the school-record time she posted in winning a state title).

Fisher junior Paige Willson destroyed her own Fisher record with a throw measuring 13.55 meters in the shot put, good for third place.

Ithaca freshman Brandy Smith rewrote a 14-year old shot put school record with a seventh-place heave of 12.93 meters. Smith also flirted with her discus school record, earning silver in the event with a toss of 42.99 meters.

Nazareth sophomore Taylor Pierson turned in a fifth-place finish in the women's long jump.  Pierson was just a half an inch shy of her personal best with a leap of 5.70 meters (18 feet, 8 1/2 inches). 

Junior Michaela Gildemeyer finished third in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:16.36. She is ranked 33rd nationally by running 2:13.70 earlier this spring. Junior Hannah Brackley also competed Friday in the 400-meter dash and finished ninth in :58.37.

Utica freshmen Alexis Edwards finished 17th, out of 23 hurlers, in the shot put.  Edwards recorded a toss of 11.41 meters.
 
Ithaca's 4x100-meter relay team of sophomores Lizzi DowlingEliza Dewart and Sarah Werner and junior Harmony Graves raced to a runner-up finish of 48.34. Graves also placed fifth in the 200 dash with a 25.28 finish.

Utica's 4x100 meter relay team consisting of freshmen Nikiya Harris and Brenna Stewart along with sophomore Sarah Wiatr and senior Anastasia Bowden finished 10th, out of 39 teams, with a final clock of 48.80.  The 4x100 missed out on points by .09. 

Stevens sophomore Amy Regan took seventh overall in the 1,500-meter run with a time of 4:44.71.

Regan also ran a leg on the 4x800-meter relay team that took 10th in a time of 9:58.64. Senior Kelly Freed, sophomore Sarah Zahran and freshman Kaela Earrusso made up the rest of the 4x800 team.
 
Ithaca's 4x800 relay team of freshman Katrina Clark, sophomore Anna Fay, freshman Kristin Lynnand sophomore Colleen Vaughn clocked a 9:46.21 finish to place fifth.
 
Stevens junior Amira Dardir took third overall in the heptathlon with 3,927 points. Throughout the day, Dardir placed fourth in the long jump and ninth in the 800-meter run. Dardir also competed in the high jump and tied for sixth at 1.64 meters. 

Sophomore Kristen Pompey placed eighth in the heptathlon with 3,669 points. She concluded the event with a 4.84-meter showing in the long jump, a throw of 31.27 meters in the javelin and a 2:58.96 finish in the 800 run. Her javelin toss was the third-best in the field of 15 participants.

AU senior Chelsea Hall finished ninth in the heptathlon, with 3,628 points. On Friday, she had a 4.75-meter long jump, a 22.55-meter javelin throw, and ran the 800 meters in 2:41.04. On Thursday, Hall ran the 100-meter hurdles in 15.76 seconds; posted a high jump of 1.33 meters and a shot put of 8.30 meters; and ran the 200-meter dash.
