DELAWARE, Ohio – Ithaca junior Emilia Scheemaker became a two-time all-American Saturday with an eighth-place finish in the women's triple jump at the 2014 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships at Ohio Wesleyan.

Scheemaker hit 11.88 meters, a season-best mark, on her first attempt to earn one of nine spots in the finals. She did not better her preliminary performance in the finals, recording jumps of 11.45 meters, 11.57 meters and 11.72 meters, respectively.

Utica sophomore Sarah Wiatr registered a jump of 11.51 meters and placed 13th for the second straight time, in as many seasons, at the national competition.

Sophomore Amy Regan picked up her fourth All-American trophy with a sixth place showing in the 5,000-meter run.

Regan ran a school record time of 16:41.95 and finished just .02 seconds from fifth in the country. In a highly contested race, the top nine performers in Saturday's event surpassed the stadium record of 16:44.68 which was set back in 2007.
