Nazareth College Assistant Athletic Director and Sports Information Director Joe Seil is the recipient of the 2014 Charlie Wagner Award from the Rochester Press-Radio Club. The prestigious award is given for promoting sports on a local level, and it was presented to Seil during this year’s 65th Day of Champions Dinner at the Rochester Rivside Convention Center.

The event was headlined by former Bills stars Andre Reed, Thurman Thomas, Steve Tasker (pictured on right with Seil), and Darryl Talley who collectively accepted the Coca-Cola Sports Personality of the Year Award on behalf of Buffalo’s Super Bowl-era teams. Late Buffalo Bills owner Ralph C. Wilson also received posthumously the Major Donald Holleder Award during the event.

"Joe is regarded as one of the best in his field," said Nazareth Athletics Director Pete Bothner. "He is such an integral part of the Nazareth athletics program, and it is his skill that turly showcases each of our athletes. We are all honored to work with him and learn from his dedication."
