Stevens Ranked No. 12 In NSCAA Preseason Poll

HOBOKEN, N.J. (August 8, 2014) – The Stevens Institute of Technology men's soccer team will open its season ranked No. 12 in the country according to the preseason National Soccer Coaches Association of America poll released today.
 
Messiah College took the top spot while Rutgers University-Camden, Amherst College, Loras College, and Trinity University (Texas) rounded out the top five.
 
The Ducks are coming off a season that cultivated in an 11th straight NCAA Tournament berth as well as an eighth consecutive Empire 8 championship. Offensively, Stevens will return its top two points leaders in juniors Carson Pryor and Colin Phillips as well as top junior defender Harrison Kane and senior midfielder Kevin Calloway.
 
Stevens will open its season with a scrimmage at Michigan State University on Aug. 24 before hosting Farmingdale State College in the regular season opener on Aug. 29.
