The Ithaca College women's soccer team (3-0) maintained its ranking in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America National Poll. The Bombers started the preseason ranked fifth in the country, but moved to No. 4 last week and will remain in that spot for another week in the national poll.

Ithaca earned its third straight shutout to start the season, as the Bombers defeated Farmingdale, 2-0, on Sunday. Junior Kelsey King  netted her third goal of the season and sophomore Jess Demczar tallied her first of the year.

The Bombers are back on the road for their next contest, as Ithaca travels to Cortland for a neutral site game against Rochester on Sept 17. Game time is scheduled for 2 p.m.

Stevens Institute of Technology is among the seven teams also receiving votes. The Ducks (3-1) tallied a pair of 1-0 victories over the weekend against Vassar College and New York University to earn the team's eighth Engineering Cup title.

Stevens returns to action on September 12 when they host No. 10 Montclair State University at the DeBaun Athletic Complex. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
