MXC Race Results: Sept 13
ITHACA
The Ithaca College men's cross country team finished fourth at the RPI Saratoga Invitational out of 14 teams. The Bomber tallied 124 points during the 6K run.
Junior
Sawyer Hitchcock led the Bombers with a time of 19:07. He placed 11th overall of 221 runners.
Sophomore Sean Phillips, a sophomore, finished 14th overall in 19:10. Senior captain
Dennis Ryan clocked a time of 19:29 for Ithaca, placing 24th overall.
Next, Junior
Stephen Gomez and Freshman
Tim Chappell took 37th and 38th with times of 19:48.
Jesse Capellaro and
Larkin Bohanan crossed the finish line next for Ithaca. Capellaro ran the course in 19:55 taking 41st overall, while Bohanan placed 44th in 20:00.
STEVENS
The Stevens Institute of Technology men's cross country team placed seventh overall out of 14 programs at the RPI Invitational at Saratoga Springs State Park on Saturday.
Stevens finished with 203 points on the 6K course and 221 total runners competed in the meet. St. Lawrence University won the meet, while Williams College placed second and New York University took third.

Nicholas Zickgraf led Stevens with a 23rd place finish (24th overall) in a time of 19:28. Senior
Thomas Cunningham was the next Ducks runner to cross in 34th (38th) with a time of 19:44.
Sophomore
Tom Flannery completed the course in 43rd (55th) in 19:59 and classmate
Chris Banko trailed shortly behind in 20:03 to finish in 48th (60th).
ST. JOHN FISHER
The Cardinals placed 14th overall at the Saratoga Invitational, hosted by Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. The 6,000-meter race was held at Saratoga Spa State Park and featured several of the nation's top programs.
For Fisher, freshman
James Felice led the way, finishing in 20:17, good for 64th place overall. Classmate
Alex Schmitt was 78th overall at 20:41, while senior
Evan Magnussen was 79th at 20:45.
Sophomore
Dan Cleary ran a mile-pace of 5:35 and finished 81st overall at 20:47, while
Caelan Welch closed the scoring with a time of 21:43 (88th overall).
ALFRED
The Alfred University men's cross country team placed third of eight teams competing Saturday at the Hobart College Invitational.
Sophomore
Kevin Dixon was the Saxons' top runner, completing the eight-kilometer course in 28:12.50, good for fourth place.
Freshman
Matthew Roder was 20
th in 29:58.40); freshman
Alexander Kenney was 21
st in 30:03.50; and junior
Ethan Foster was 22
nd in 30:29.20.
