Ithaca Moves Up in Women's Soccer National Poll
ITHACA, N.Y. – The Ithaca College women's soccer team (2-0) improved its ranking in the
National Soccer Coaches Association of America National Poll that was released on Tuesday. The Bombers started the preseason ranked fifth in the country, but have since moved to No. 4 in the national poll.
Ithaca went 2-0 to start the season, as the Bombers earned a pair of 1-0 victories against Kean and Stockton in the Kean Cougar Classic this past weekend. Junior
Kelsey King scored both goals for the Bombers, while junior goalkeeper
Beth Coppolecchia recorded two shutouts.
Ithaca's next game is a home contest against Farmingdale on Sunday Sept. 7 at 12 p.m.
