Courage Bowl set for Sept. 20
The College at Brockport will be making its inaugural appearance in the Courage Bowl in 2014 and looks forward to its partnership with Camp Good Days and St. John Fisher College in helping Camp Good Days fulfill its mission of improving the quality of life for children, adults and families whose lives have been touched by cancer and other life challenges.
The game will take place Saturday, September 20 on the campus of Brockport at the Eunice Kennedy Shriver Stadium. Kickoff is set for 6:00 p.m.
The Courage Bowl was established in 2005 and is the brainchild of the organization’s chairman and founder, Gary Mervis. Camp Good Days campers take an active role in the Courage Bowl serving as honorary coaches and cheerleaders. All proceeds of the game go to Camp Good Days.
This year’s game will be televised on Time Warner Cable throughout New York State.
