Andrews, Murphy and Woodburn Named to D3football.com Team of the Week
The College at Brockport running back Dan Andrews, Ithaca College defensive end Logan Murphy and Utica kicker Nick Woodman have been named to the
D3football.com National Team of the Week after their performances over the weekend.
D3football.com is in its 17th season of selecting a National Team of the Week. The website staff selects players at each position from the top performances from across the country at the Division III level.
Andrews scored three touchdowns in an overtime battle with Utica, rushing for 256 yards on 34 carries. He had a 38-yard run and a 47-yard run on the day, and also caught one pass for 52 yards.
Murphy had a career day, recording a career-high four and a half sacks with nine tackles as Ithaca handed Hartwick a 47-19 loss. Murphy also had a career-best six tackles for a loss. Murphy was one of five Bombers with a sack against the Hawks as Ithaca held Hartwick to 19 points, more than two touchdowns below its season scoring average.
Woodburn was 5-for-5 on field goals, including a 34-yarder with one second left in regulation as well as the game-winner in overtime, as Utica survived a 22-19 win vs. Brockport. Woodburn connected from 37, 20, 44, 34 and 35 in the win, becoming the Pioneers' all-time leading scorer in the process.
