Three Women's Soccer Teams Regionally Ranked

For the first time this season, the NCAA released its regional women's soccer rankings. The rankings are based on all games played through Oct. 18.

The Stevens Institute of Technology, Ithaca College and Nazareth College women's soccer teams are three of seven teams ranked in the East Region.

Stevens with a record of 11-2-1 ranks second in the East Region, while Ithaca (9-3-1) is No. 3 and Nazareth (10-2-2) is No. 5.

William Smith tops the East with a mark of 10-1-1.

Stevens will take on nationally ranked The College Of New Jersey tonight, Wednesday Oct. 21 at 7pm at the DeBaun Athletic Complex.

Nazareth and Ithaca return to action on Saturday when Nazareth will host Ithaca College for a 12 p.m. contest.  It marks a rematch of the 2014 Empire 8 final.  Following a 0-0 tie, Nazareth advanced 4-3 on penalty kicks to earn the automatic berth into the NCAAA Division III Tournament.
