Stevens Receiving Votes from NSCAA
After topping Drew University 4-0 Wednesday and Elmira College 9-0 Saturday, the Stevens Institute of Technology women's soccer team is receiving votes in the latest
National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) poll.
Stevens is currently riding a five game unbeaten streak and are 7-2-1 on the season. They have knocked off two teams so far that qualified for the 2014 NCAA Tournament in Montclair State University and Farmingdale State College.
In the Ducks' last game, junior Raba Nassif recorded three goals and an assist on six shots. She scored all three of her goals in 1:51, including two in a 33 second span, both of which are school records.
The three goals in 1:51 currently ranks fifth all-time in NCAA Division III history, with the current record being 42 seconds.
The Ducks begin a three game road trip when they travel to St. John Fisher for a 12 p.m. contest next Saturday.
