Michael Lippencott is the Senior Associate Director of Athletics for Facilities and Operations at Stevens Institute of Technology.

Where did you attend college? What was your major? Where you a student-athlete?
I attended William Paterson for undergrad, The College of New Jersey for graduate school. I studied sociology and education, and played one year of baseball at WPU.
 
What made you chose to attend the institution as an undergrad and/or graduate student?
I chose William Paterson for their education program, and their sports.
 
How long have you been working at Stevens Institute of Technology?
I’ve been a Duck for 25 years now.
 
What interested you and brought you to Stevens?
Working at Stevens is a great job and its much closer to home.
 
What is the best thing about the Campus?
Working with the students is one of the top things about working here.
 
When you hear Stevens Institute of Technology what is the first word that comes to mind?
Smart.
 
Who has been the most influential person during your career? Why?
There really hasn’t been just one person, but many people have been very influential on me.
 
What do you do in your spare time?
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, playing a lot of golf, and gardening. Anyone in the department knows summer time means string beans and cucumbers from the garden.
 
Top 3 things on your bucket list?
I don’t have a bucket list.
 
What is something most people don’t know about you?
I like the quiet.
