Men's Basketball Player - Alfred
Eric Adams, Junior, Forward – Lebanon, NJ/Hunterdon Central
Eric Adams averaged a double-double (16 points/12 rebounds) in two Saxon road wins last week, shooting a combined 75 percent (15 of 20) from the field in the two games. He scored 14 points on 6-of-10 shooting and pulled down 13 rebounds in a 70-58 victory of Keuka and netted 18 points on 9-of-10 shooting and grabbed 11 boards in a 91-74 win against Hilbert. The 6-3 forward has posted point-rebound double-doubles in four of five games this year and on the season has averaged 13.6 points and 12.2 rebounds.
Men's Basketball Rookie - Elmira
Justin Porrett, Freshman, Guard - Dumont, NJ/Dumont
Justin Porrett averaged 12 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 3.3 assists in three games. He scored a career-high 20 points against Hilbert College on 9-of-18 shooting while also grabbing seven rebounds. Then, in Elmira's overtime win against Chatham, Porrett pulled down a career-high eight boards.
Women's Basketball Player - Nazareth
Lindsey Kelly, Senior, Center – Doylestown, PA/Central Bucks East
Kelly registered two double-doubles in a 2-0 week for Nazareth. She went 7-for-17 for 17 points and pulled down 16 rebounds in a 62-51 win over Fredonia. On Saturday Kelly was 11-for-12 from the field for 26 points and registered 11 rebounds in just 22 minutes of play.
Women’s Basketball Rookie – Houghton
Madison Detwiler, Freshman, Forward – Williamsburg, PA/Williamsburg
Madison Detwiler scored 12 points and had six rebounds against the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford on Tuesday. She hit 4-of-8 from the floor and 4-of-6 from the free throw line. She completed her stat line with two steals, one assist and one block.
