Wooters Selected As Finalist For Lacrosse Magazine's Preseason POY

Luke Wooters of the men's lacrosse team has been selected as one of five finalists for Lacrosse Magazine's Division III Preseason Player of the Year. There will be fan voting

Wooters, a Second Team USILA All-American last season and an Honorable Mention selection as a freshman, is third all-time among the Nazareth career scoring leaders. The White Plains, NY native has 141 goals and 146 assists for 288 career points in just three seasons. His 141 career goals are just one shy of tying Marty Kelly '92 for first on the All-Time career list. Bill Coons '89 holds the Nazareth record for career points with 312.
In his freshman season, Wooters set the single season record for goals at Nazareth with 64 en route to being named the Empire 8 Rookie of the Year.
