Stevens Swimming Ranked In CSCAA Polls

NORFOLK, Va. (DECEMBER 16, 2015) – The Stevens Institute of Technology swimming teams are ranked in the College Swimming Coaches Association of America poll released Wednesday.

The men's team is ranked 11th, and the 158 points received is nine points more than Carnegie Mellon. The team topped No. 15 Rowan University in there only dual meet of the year, and picked up a second place finish in a tri-meet against No. 5 New York University and SUNY-New Paltz. Two weeks ago, the Ducks grabbed a first place finish at the Worcester Polytechnic Institute Invitational, and senior Ravi Sun was named Empire 8 Conference swimmer of the week.

The women's team is presently ranked 14th, and also topped Rowan in their lone dual-meet of the season thus far. Like the men's side, the Ducks took second in a tri-meet against No. 6 NYU and New Paltz, while finishing third at the WPI Invitational.

Both sides will be back in action on January 16, taking on Johns Hopkins University at 1 p.m.
