Alfred University whips LaRoche College, 8-1
NEW YORK, NY – The Alfred University women's tennis team defeated LaRoche, 8-1, Sunday afternoon at Miller Tennis Center in New York City.
AU improved to 8-6 on the 2014-15 season with the win, taking five of six singles matches and sweeping three doubles matches.

Emma Jackson (Wellsville, NY/Wellsville) won first singles, 6-0, 6-2; junior
Rachel Cook (Youngstown, OH/Laurel Springs) took second singles, 6-1, 6-0; senior Brennan
Brennan Ferguson (Destrechan, LA/Ursuline) claimed third singles, 6-0, 6-0; senior
Emily Eisenberg (Oyster Bay, NY/Oyster Bay) won fourth singles, 6-2, 6-2; and senior
Betsy Clark (Webster, NY/Bishop Kearney) won fifth singles, 6-0, 6-1.
Jackson and Cook won first doubles, 8-0; Ferguson and Eisenberg won second doubles, 8-2; and Clark and freshman
Sarah Grace (Rochester, NY/Penfield) took third doubles, 8-4.
AU is in action next on Tuesday, April 14, at 3:30 p.m. at Lycoming College.
