Rookie of the Week:
Haley DeVona – Nazareth College, Fr., A, Minoa, N.Y.
DeVona scored four goals, including the game-winner with 20 seconds left in overtime, in a 12-11 victory over William and Smith. With Nazareth trailing 7-2 late in the first half and 7-3 at halftime, DeVona scored three of her goals over the final 30 minutes to jumpstart Nazareth’s comeback.
Men's Tennis - Upstate
Co-Player of the Week
Satchal Waters - Elmira College, Jr., Elmira, N.Y.
Waters was a double-winner on Sunday, producing victories at both first doubles and second singles, to help lead the Soaring Eagles to a 5-4 victory over Oswego State. He teamed-up with
Keith Bujak'15 in doubles and rolled to a fairly easy 8-3 win. Then, in singles, Waters was leading 4-3 in the first set before winning eight of the next nine games, pulling away for the 6-3, 6-1 straight-set victory.
