ABBOTTSTOWN, Pa. -- Nazareth senior Jennifer Lachell finished in a tie for second place individually over the weekend at the McDaniel Spring Invitational at the Bridges Golf Club.

Lachell had scores of 89 and 86 on the par-72 layout to finish with a 175 total to tie her with Michelle Klein and Marissa Suder of Washington & Jefferson and Laura Gay of St. Lawrence. Claire O'Neil of St. Lawrence was the medalist with rounds of 84 and 77 for a 161 total. Nazareth finished in fifth place of the two-day event with scores of 602 and 588 for a 1190 total. St. Lawrence won the team title with scores of 350 and 340 for a 690 total.

Hannah Darr (147-143--290), Alexis Bucklin (151-187--338) and Julia Barrett (215-172--387) also competed for the Golden Flyers.

St. John Fisher College finished the McDaniel Spring Invitational with 787 (396, 391) for 211-above par for fourth place overall. 

Ceilia Fitzgerald led the Cardinals, completing the two-round invitational at 34-above par (178) for tied for seventh place. She shot 91 in the first round then improved on Sunday, recording 87. 

Alexis Juda placed 17th while Christiann Lerminiaux and Jenna Stogsdill tied for 18th at 59- and 60-above par, respectively. Lerminiaux made the biggest improvement from Saturday, shooting 107 then 97. 

Megan Bleck rounded out the scoring with a 67-above par.
